Judge Portrait Ineke Zwaartman-Pinster:
Ineke Zwaartman-Pinster, born in 1954, lives with her husband and 16 dogs (13 Tibetan Spaniel, 3 Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) in Westvoorne, Netherlands. A son, a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren belong to the family.
Mrs Zwaartman-Pinster adores dogs, but she likes other animals too and is fond of editing photos on her PC. This is also her profession.
In 1974 the first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel moved into her house, and since 1976 she is breeding under the kennel name "Het Zwaard". During the last 20 years she has specialised on breeding black and tan, red, white blenheim and tricolour dogs. The first Tibetan Spaniels moved into the Zwaartman-Pinster house about 16 years ago. Per year she raises two or three litters. Before becoming acquainted and thus loving Tibetan Spaniels, Cavaliers shared the house with long haired Chihuahua and Maltese. Mrs Zwaartman-Pinster enjoyed and loved this living together very much. She bred these breed almost 17 years.
Mrs Zwaartman-Pinster assisted in publishing the Dutch books "De Keeshond" and "De Cavalier in Nederland", and in 2006 she herself wrote and published a Dutch book "Tibetaans Spaniel".
Since 1974 she is judging. She judges FCI groups 5 and 9 as well as Do Khyi of FCI group 2 and Affenpinscher, Miniature Pinscher, Toy Terrier, Stabyhoun und Wetterhoun. As special breed judge Mrs Zwaartman-Pinster is competent for all breeds of FCI group 9 as well as for the breeds Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, King Charles Spaniel, Maltese and Chihuahua. Judging led her throughout Europe. Her most impressing exhibitions took place in 2010: the Nordic Winner, the Finnish and Helsinki Winner. There she has been judging an overwhelming number of 70 Tibetan Spaniel, but some other breeds too!
Mrs Zwaartman-Pinster loves breeding and judging over all, and she hopes to be able to follow her hobbies on a long term.
